A book to read a day, keeps the ignorance away!!

As always!!, we keep reading in our lives, books, magazines, papers, etc!. Its something that most people in the world have in common.

What we read however, its very variated and amazing, me on the personal level, enjoy of a good romantic book in the weekend (Yes Im a romantic geek so what??!). But i also love the medieval stories and stuff, like Ken Follet's "World Without End", such an intriguing novel of love, and deception, although it has some action on it which make it more fantastic for me.

I read most of the times when im not worried about tests and crap from the college, like now i still got Nora Roberts "Midnight Bayou", and still haven't read more than 40 pages!!. What the hell?!!, thats why i hate school.

Besides of the literature books, theres also a lot of magazines, i used to read a lot of pc magazines back at the 90's, and a lot of FHM, hey! they got interesting stuff too!!. I discovered the passion for reading story novels a few years, and never realized how fascinating it could be, now i know, and im not letting go this beautiful hobby.

It all began with "Los ojos de mi princesa", "The Eyes of my Princess" telling the story of a young boy who fall in love with this new gorgeous girl in the school, thinking of her all the time and loving her more and more, he decided to change her name to Sheccid, because thats the name of an equal beauty arabic princess. In time he fights his way to conquer her hearth, no matter what it takes.

I read this book in one night, and don't get me wrong, the book is big, compared to his first presentation "La fuerza de Sheccid", "The Force of Sheccid", and its filled with pure awesomeness, making my way to the literature & story novels an endless dream.

Rpg Maker Games... What a nice hobby, or profession?

The first time i entered in the Rpg Maker world was at the age of 13, in a cyber-cafe, looking for roms to download minding my own business, and suddenly i saw it.

"¿You want to create your own rpg game? CLICK HERE!!!"

And i was like "Dude!!!!WTF?!! hell yeah ill click there!", i used to play a lot of rpgs, i remember i played Lufia and fortress of Doom in that week, and after that experience, i definitely wanted to make my own game.

But how?!, what kinda of stuff do i need to became a game maker?, first of all i didn't know shit about programming, and second, what the hell was programming?!, all i known about it, its that it has to do something with commands, numbers and superbrains dudes.

But then i found the answer, so i follow the link in that page and sent me to some site which i don't remember, and i maybe it doesn't exist anymore, all the same, it has a lot of info about that, music files, charactersets... "¿charactersets?? whats is that??" i asked myself, chipsets, and a lot of utilities such as...

The Rpg Maker...

Thats it!!!!!!!, i was really excited about it was like a dream to come true, a dream that i fabricated about 2 days ago, and suddenly it was already done. I remember that i told to the owner of the cafe, to download the files for me, and it took a full week!! a full fucking week??!!, what the hell was wrong in those days, the internet was really slow, but hey i got the program along with some other stuff that has the "maker" word on it.

This was the first set of programs i can remember that make my first travel of RPG land, and it was awesome, a bunch of friends of mine, came to my house and saw the shit i was working on, and i showed to 'em. They were amazed about it, just to see their names on the screen moving, and doing stuff was really great, and come to think off it was really funny to remember that.

Anyway i just wanted to write something about this because it was really important to me this RPG Maker phase that it seems it will never end.

When does Duke Nukem Forever comes out?

Hell, how many years we've been waiting for this game to come out??.
And more important would it come out someday??.
Fuck at least i hope it will before the Apocalypse.
The teaser its just awesome, i mean The only person in the freaking world, thats smokes a huge habano while hes lifting up some fucking weights... Its Duke Nukem.

Yeah well, anyway Ive been working on this sprite, for like 3 or 4 days now, and gotta tell ya', I fucking love it. Sure its got some flaws that i need to work it out but hey, its more possible that i finish this characterset than DNF to be completed.
